As the world commemorates World Press Freedom Day today, journalists in Kasese district have been urged to prioritize professionalism in their work.
While addressing journalists as they joined colleagues nationwide to mark World Press Freedom Day at Liberty College of Management and Journalism in Nyamwamba Division, Kasese Municipality, the Rwenzori East Region Police spokesperson, SP. Nelson Tumusiime, emphasized the importance of professionalism and fairness in publishing stories.
SP. Tumusiime congratulated journalists on their special day and urged them to ensure balanced reporting to help Ugandans make informed decisions.
