A section of Residents in Kasese District have commended Government for officially launching the Kasese High Court Circuit, marking a significant Milestone in improving access to Justice for local communities, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
The launch held on Tuesday is part of a broader initiative by the Judiciary to establish 18 new High Court Circuits across various regions to enhance justice accessibility.
Mr. Tsotso Bangirana 75 years old and resident of Kitswamba town council said the Circuit will ensure timely justice.

To Mr. Justus Sunday, the Chairperson Local One for Kihara Road cell in Nyamwamba Division Kasese Municipality, described Kasese High Court Circuit as cost effective to the local community.

During the launch, the Kasese District Boss, Mr.Erifaz Muhindi was opprtumistic that the High Court Judge will handle cases of corruption in Kasese district. Mr. Muhindi speaking….
In his speech, the Principal Judge Hon. Justice Dr. Flavian Zeija, who emphasized that daily hearings will be conducted to address the case backlog and ensure timely justice, also called for mediation of disputes by the cultural and Religious leaders among others.
