The Kasese district FDC`s Acting General Sectary, Mr. Earnest Kasoke has resigned his party position.
Addressing the Press at White gardens in Kasese today, Mr. Kasoke who alleged that his party repeating what they blame of the ruling NRM said that he couldn’t keep the position at a time he decides to campaign for the incumbent Busongora South MP, Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika, an independent candidate who failed the party primaries.

At the start of the FDC primary campaigns, Mr. Kasoke who doubled as the party`s Secretary for mobilization said that he would not go into active politics but to give enough time to his party roles then when most of the executive members were busy traversing for support for elective positions ahead of the 2020-2021 general elections.

All through his speech, Mr. Kasoke whose part of his responsibility is to decampaign candidates from other parties, including FDC for Hon. Kathika`s success in the general polls emphasized that he would remain a committed member of the blue party headed by their President, Eng. Patrick Oboyi Amuriate.
Meanwhile, Mr. Michael Muthobolho Masereka Micheal has also declared his candidature for the Busongora south MP seat on National unity platform ticket to address challenges of agriculture and roads among others. END
