Mr. Samson Mutahunga, an FDC diehard and a renowned ruling party critic in Kasese Municipality is the latest convert into the National Resistance Movement party, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably reveal.
Mr. Mutahunga, is the local council one chairperson for Mumbuzi cell in Kasese Municipality.
Handing himself over to the NRM party chairperson in Kasese district, Hon. Dr. Crispus Kiyonga at the district party offices this afternoon. Mr. Mutahunga, the Big Fish from Mumbuzi Cell said he couldn’t remain in FDC anymore after the Kasese leadership led by Mr. Saulo Mathe reportedly said their National party headquarters in Najjanankumbi had been captured by an invisible force. Another batch of defectors from FDC led by Mr. Amon Mahips Kambere, a senior driver at Coca-Cola stage in Kasese Municipality town said they decided to cross to the NRM party after seeing no future to more than a decade long un fruitful resistance against the ruling political party.

Mr. Joseph Kinyambila Isamba, the former FDC chairperson for Bwesumbu subcounty like his other ten defectors, told this radio that the misguiding waves and what they called ‘’Parapara’’ in their former FDC party forced them out. Mr. Kinyambila and others………
To Dr. Kiyonga, the defectors saw no more need of biting the hands that feed them, citing a number of service delivery in the areas of infrastructural development, democracy, peace and security among other developments that the ruling government is proud of despite some challenges.
