Mr. Ronald Kabuku Bwambale, the Forum for Democratic Change Chairperson in Kasese District doubts the defection of more than 200 members of the opposition to the ruling National Resist Movement party this week.
The Mass defection was announced yesterday during a meeting held at Nyamugasana Primary school in Kisinga subcounty by the Kasese District NRM Publicity secretary, Mr. Johnson Kamalha Kalyasa who believes the defectors were attracted by the longstanding service delivery record by the Museveni led ruling party.

Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at FDC offices this afternoon, Mr. Kabuku who did not substantiate his statements, alleged that the number of defectors was exaggerated by the NRM party officials with an aim to cause unnecessary panic to the opposition members ahead of the party primaries this year.
