Mr. Hashim Bwambale, the Kasese District nutrionist has noted a slight decrease in stuntedness, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably report.
He said in 2016 over Fifty children were stunted between six months compared to 2022 where children between five and six months, out of one hundred, thirty eight were reported stunted.

The common causes of malnutrition are attributed to food insecurity, declining wages and rising prices of Agriculture and increasing income inequality between the wealthy and the poor which has continued to rise in Uganda.
