    Kasese district local gov’t temporary re-allocated for one year.

    Central government has cleared the Kasese district local government to temporary re-allocation for one year some floods victims whose houses were destroyed by the recent deadly floods.

    The Kasese district Chairperson, Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo confirmed that a meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday next week to ponder on where the victims in the houseless category could be relocated all over the districts. Mr. Bigogo speaking1………

    Mr. Bigogo later asked the office of the Kasese RDC to restrain from making statements about disasters without cross checking with the district leadership that is mandated to deal with these weather forced challenges. Mr.Bigogo speaking2…….

    Earlier, the chairperson indicated that government had also sent to his office over nine hundred eighty five million shillings to fix some selected roads in the district. END
