Kasese District Boss, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi has directed the district health officer, Dr.Yusuf Baseke to do Maternal Audit after the death of an expectant mother and her Baby at Bwera Hospital in Kasese District, out of alleged negligence of health pracctioners.
Muhindi a Medic turned Politician, said Dr.Baseke should establish the cause of the alleged death of Late Glades Kato Masika 41years resident of Kamasasa two village in Karambi Sub-County and submit a report.

Muhindi said whoever is responsible for the Maternal death will be penalized without compromise, because Health workers are trained to save lives but not to cause death out of negligence.

Dr. Baluku, a Medical Officer at Bwera Hospital told Kasese Guide Radio this afternoon that Midwives on duty last night tried to save life but in vain. Dr.Baluku on Maternal Death……
Earlier, the Karambi subcounty secretary for Social services, Hon. Joachim Kangaluma said the deceased, Ms Glades Kato Masika 41 from required the expertize of a medical doctor who wasn’t available on duty at the time of need.
