Several schools in Kasese district have recorded fewer learners as they reopened their gates for second academic term, Kasese guide radio has learnt.
Schools opened for the term today in line with the National Education Institutions calendar.
But the Kasese Municipal Education officer Mr. Emmy Kayiri said 30% of the learners reported in Government aided schools in Kasese Municipality, despite secondary school science teachers sit down strike over salary increment. Mr.Kayiri speaking…..
Kasese district Education officer Mr. George Mayinja hailed teachers for reporting back with over ninety five percent but asked those who recently attended the new Curriculum training to put it into good use.
