    Kasese district has received relief aid from Prime Minister’s Office to mudslide victims-Mr. Muhindi

    Kasese district has received relief aid from the office of Prime Minister to this week`s mudslide victims, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi, the Kasese district chairperson has said.

    According to Mr. Muhindi, his office received more than ten tons of Maize flour, about six tons of beans and 200 tapelines.

    Mr. Muhindi who hailed the office of the Prime Minister and the government of Uganda for the support, said the distribution of the items to the affected people would be made in a phased manner for transparency. Mr. Muhindi speaking1………

    He said the affected flood victims had been registered against suspected intending ghost beneficiaries, calling on the local leaders and the community members to be on the watch. Mr. Muhindi speaking2…..

    Mr. Muhindi had earlier asked community members in disaster prone areas to locate to safer places. END
