    Kasese district boss explains how important is tax paying

    Taxes are the resource envelope for service delivery and not a burden as perceived by a section of the public, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairmen has said.

    Addressing the leaderships of local traders, trading centers, town council and Kasese municipalities in Verina gardens in Kasese Municipalities, Mr. Muhindi said the good roads, schools, health facilities, security, clean and safe water among others were funded by the taxes from Ugandans.

    He asked the local community members to pay taxes without which, service delivery would be no more. Mr. Erifazi speaking1…….

    Mr. Zepher Ndungu Rugarama, the Kasese district traders’ chairperson said it was a big challenge that the manufacturers sell to them but also distribute to individual customers. Mr. Zepher speaking……

    During the same sharing meeting organized by the Kasese district local; government, Mr. Julius Nandeeba, the Kasese Station head team leader for Uganda Revenue Authority, Kasese branch asked local traders to acts against some manufacturers who distribute to both wholesalers, retailers and individual consumers there’re, failing business chain.
