The Kasese district Chairperson, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi`s home is said to have been attacked by suspected robbers last night, Kasese Guide radio has learnt.
No official comment yet from Police but Mr. Muhindi said he had gone to the village at the time his personal property including private car, an Ipsum Registration number, UAM 338 U parked at his home adjacent to the Link bus terminal in Kasese Municipality, was reportedly vandalized by the suspected attackers. The Kasese Municipal Central Division FDC Chairperson, Mr. Jafali Kigutiha sympathized with Mr. Muhindi whom he said must remain strong against corruption but his security guaranteed by police.

Earlier, Mr. Muhindi said some civil servants from Kasese district had been summoned by the parliamentary accounts committee sitting in Hoima on Wednesday over suspected finance mismanagement suspicions. END.
