Kasese based Radio presenter Dennis Mumbere has passed on after being involved in a fatal road accident at Nyamirangara along Kasese-Mbarara Highway at around 4am yesterday (25th.April.2021). .
Mumbere breathed his last as he was being rushed to Mbarara regional Referral Hospital upon a referral from Kasese.
Information our reporter got indicates that five people including three journalists were on Sunday morning involved in a road accident.
Journalists Ronnie Diamonds of UBC Ngeya FM, Denis Mumbere of Messiah Radio and Aron Balichumu aka Aron Lee of UBC were among a crew of five people who in a car that veered off the road.
Since Mumbere and Diomonds were in critical condition, they were referred to Mbarara but Mumbere died before reaching the hospital.

Reliable information indicates that the team was coming from Lasafari gardens a few meters from Mpondwe-Lhubiriha border in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council and it is alleged that they were heading for a Camp Fire.
Others nursing injuries include a local artiste Meruzi and Kabaka Deo of Deo technologies who was the driver. Muzz Joe, Bob and Kim managed to survive the accident unhurt.
