State Minister for Works and transports, Hon. Musa Ecweru has reportedly said that Government is in its final stages to upgrade Kasese Airfield into an international Airport, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district chairperson has said.
According to Mr. Muhindi, the half day tour in Kasese district by Hon. Ecweru was among others to physically associate with the challenges related to Kasese Airfield and the Railway line as Government finalizes plans to invest in the same.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio at the Kasese Airfield last evening, the Kasese district political boss who said the Minister had talked vastly about the ending legal issues related to compensation, added that the upgrading move would among others boost tourism and cross border Business in the district.
