About 1,000 pupils at Kasangali SDA primary school in Bwesumbu Sub-County Kasese district are currently struggling to find water as the crisis hits the school, Kasese guide radio has learnt.
According to the school head teacher Mr.Matayo Wahimba, the village and learners share one stream that makes life difficult in hard to reach area.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio yesterday Mr. Wahimba revealed that on several occasion learners have trekked over 30 kilometers to access water from the neighboring village of Buhati.
He called for expedited process by Kasese district Local Government and the area MP Hon.Sowedi Kitanywa into the matter.

Wahimba added that most times teachers and pupils report late because they have to first search for water.
The Chairperson PTA, Mr.Wilex Mulonya reported that since inception of Kasangali Government has never extended clean piped water in the area, wondering why leaders have kept a deaf ear.
