The police fraternity is mourning the death of Senior Superintendent of Police Samuel Bamuzibire who has been the Kampala Metropolitan 999 Patrol Commander.
Mr. Bamuzibire, according to police sources at Naguru police headquarters succumbed to the Coronavirus at Nsambya hospital.
Bamuzibire becomes the second senior police officer in Kampala to succumb to COVID-19 after the Kira Road Division Police Commander – DPC Matthias Turyasingura succumbed to the virus.
Meanwhile, Patrick Besigye Keihwa, the former Kabale District LCV Chairperson and former Uganda Local Governments’ Association chairperson for Western Uganda has also succumbed to Covid-19 at Healthstone Hospital in Banda, Kampala last evening.
Mr. Darius Nandiinda, the Kabale Resident District Commissioner says that during Keihwa’s tenure, he preached solidarity among district staff.
Mr. Nelson Nshangabasheija, the Kabale District LC5 chairman says that Keihwa will be remembered for cherishing peaceful politics in the district. Mr. Nelson speaking….
