Police in Kagadi district are hunting for one Mr. John Twesige, a resident of Kicucura sub county for allegedly murdering his brother, Frank Asiimwe over 2,000 shillings debt.
After engaging Asiimwe several times to refund his money, Twesige reportedly picked a panga and hacked him several times on the head, face and neck, killing him instantly on Sunday night.
Mr. Bonny Aliganyira, the Kicuucura LCI Chairperson explains that the suspect immediately vanished the area after committing the offense but his office immediately alerted police that rushed and picked the body to Kagadi General Hospital mortuary.
SP Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson confirmed the incident explaining that the deceased person succumbed to injuries inflicted on him by his brother and that the forces were hunting for the suspect. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace. END
