Hon. Godfrey Kabbyanga, the State Minister for National Guidance has described as a total betrayal by parents and guardians who in collaboration with some government aided schools plan for extra teaching of the learners but end up leaving the head teachers into the government hook.
According to Hon. Kabbyanga, the call for extra teaching programs and testing of learners in public schools is a handwork by parents and guided by the head teachers who in the end have carried the burden after the former fail to fulfill their roles.
The former Kasese Municipal Mayor was responding to the concerns of many political leaders, including Hon. Florence Kabugho who said the arrests of head teachers by Kasese RDC would demoralize teachers.
Hon. Florence had however blamed parents and guardians for paying lots of money in private schools but pushed to pay for the little intended to back government efforts in public schools. Hon. Florence speaking…….

In his address earlier, the newly appointed and promoted Brigade Commander for the greater Bushenyi, Lt. Col. Erisa Israel Kaheru used part of his speech to remind the mourners against politicizing matters of security but report any suspicions to relevant offices.
