    Isango sub-county launches PDM program

    Mr. Moses Tsutsu, the Local council three chairperson for Isango sub-county in Kasese district has warned those misusing the parish development model program funds, especially the parish chiefs, to stop the practice.

    He said misappropriation of the funds is likely to affect the program intended to drive household out of poverty.

    Mr. Tsutsu made the remarks this afternoon at the official launch of PDM at St. James Kyempara Church of Uganda in Isango sub-county, where at least fifty beneficiaries each received one million shillings.

    He urged parish chiefs to encourage the communities to focus on development as PDM has been brought to rescue people from poverty than creating ghost groups for personal benefits. Mr. Tsutsu speaking..

    Mr. Johnson Mayora, the district councilor representing Isango sub-county, described as mare speculation that PDM funds is a gift from president Museveni, but a revolving fund at parish level .
