Police in Rwenzori East Region has commenced with investigations into circumstances under which a food store and two Grinding Machines gutted fire over the weekend in Kilembe Quarters, Kasese Municipality.
ASP Nelson Tumushiime, the Rwenzori East Mouthpiece, said Police will issue a statement about the possible cause of the fire after completing investigation.
He sympathized with the business community that lost their properties, but called for calm among the people.
