The youth chaplain for Immaculate Heart Parish-Hima in the Diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Mariko Bwambale has encouraged the young people to invest their youthful age and ability to work for the church of Christ.
In his homily while presiding over holy Mass that closed a two days seminar for the youth in Hima Parish, Fr. Mariko who asked the youth to be ready for the Holy Spirit, asked them against the mentality that they were future Church.
Rev. Fr. Mariko later said time was now for the young people to work for the Church of Christ since some Church leaders and Christians were growing weaker. Fr. Mariko speaking….….

In his maiden speech, the newly elected youth chairman, Mr. Moses Mugisha asked his peers to make good use of the lessons learnt during the two days seminar.
The conference ended up with a friendly match between Kasanga Parish youth and Hima netball and football matches that both favored the visitors. END
