Parents are being tasked with investing in competence- based education of their children to compete in the job market.
In an interview with Hon. Edward Mungoye today, the District councilor representing Kyalhumba sub-county competent skills education focus more on skills acquisition of learners.
He noted that there are many graduates from the universities, yet there are no jobs to absorb them, adding that skilled people are job creators rather than seekers.
