Hon. Robert Centenary, the former Kasese Municipal Legislator blames the controversies surrounding Kilembe Mines Hospital limited to leadership gaps by some political leaders he said reportedly lack the lobbying muscle.
Hon. Centenary’s comments follow last week’s comments by his successor in Kasese Municipality, Hon. Ferigo Kambale who alleged before the Government Assurance and Implementation committee of Parliament that Hon. Kabyanga was leading the sabotage against the revamp of Kilembe Mines hospital which has seemed costly to government after the expiry of the tripartite agreement.

In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio this morning, Hon. Centenary who appreciated the local community and leadership in Bulembia Division for their support to the project, asked the Kasese Municipal Legislator to be tactical by engaging relevant government ministries ahead of the budgeting process for the facility to be included in the budget than making diversionary selfish statements against innocent leaders in government. Hon. Centenary who appreciated Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga, the State Minster for being mature enough to forgive Hon. Ferigo, wondered why the legislator would falsely accuse the Minister than consulting him to reach the relevant offices to back his lobbying plans to save the health facility.
Hon. Centenary speaking2……
After a touching Homily by the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese at St. Michael Kabuyiri Shrine, Hon. Kabyanga said he had forgiven Hon. Ferigo whom he was planning to drag to courts of law for defamation.
The former Legislator who said he was yet to know how the Government Assurance and Implementation committee of Parliament ended up in Kilembe hospital matters than following up on the Presidential pledges, also wondered the far Mr. Ferigo had gone in following up the report by the committee of Parliament on health that visited Kilembe Mines hospital last year.
