Over 80 teenage mothers from Munkunyu Sub-County in Kasese District have been equipped with skills in bar soap making, with a call to put the skill into good usage.
The training conducted by Inspire Girls Foundation at Kinyamaseke town council, trained teenage mother’s hands on skills to enable them raise income.

The coordinator Inspire Girls Foundation, Lilian Biira said the program launched last month targets young mothers and school dropout.

Mr. Ernest Kyamakya, the Chairperson LC3 Kinyamaseke town council, said about 200 cases of teenage pregnancies were registered during the lockdown.
He asked parents to allow teenage mothers go back to school and acquire different skills for economic transformation.
