The Uganda Wildlife Research and Training institute has embarked on community sensitization to increase public knowledge about the schools capacity to improve tourism in Kasese District.
Mr. Robert Baluku, the Principal Uganda Wildlife Research and training institute, said yesterday’s sensitization meetings held in the town councils of Mpondwe-Lhubiriha, Kinyamaseke and Kasese Municipality, was to explain to the public about the importance of training wildlife, Natural resources Management and tourism to the community, but also requesting parents to allow their children to join the profession.

Mr. Robert revealed that Government had allocated billions of money, the funds are intended to support staffing and training activities so as to effect research in the institute, a matter that is expected to generate comprehensive solutions to the human wildlife conflict.
