Mr. Leonard Imanishimwe, the Uganda Youth Forum Director in the office of the First Lady has asked drivers to closely work with the government in ironing out the repeated challenges that would end up frustrating their operations.
In a message read to the members of Kasese-Bwera drivers Sacco meeting held at Jeliza Hotel in Kasese Municipality yesterday, Mr. Imanishimwe who was represented by Mr. Neckson Thaheramboko said drivers were a vulnerable category if people who can easily be mistaken against the law should they operate independent of government.
He asked taxi operators to establish alternative income generating sources and serving the interests of their Sacco if it was to be relevant and beneficial to them. Mr. Thaheramboko speaking………
