Caritas Kasese has donated assorted relief aid to the Internally Displaced People encamped in Muhokya town council with a call for hard work for improved livelihoods among the same flood victims.
At the handover of the relief aid in the camp, the Director for Caritas in the Diocese of Kasese, Rev. Fr. Anyasio Mbusa emphasized hard work among the camp occupants, saying his office was planning to extend hands on skills to empower them than depending on pledges for help that sometimes never yield fruits. Fr. Anyasio who appreciated government and her development partners for their intervention however called for more aid to the Internally Displaced people whom he said were living miserably over the licking shelters, bad food and scaring sanitation environment in the camp.
