Mr. Zakaus Bwambale, the agricultural extension officer for Nyakabingo sub-county in Kasese district calls for feeding on organically produced crops for good health.
Addressing farmers in a meeting at Bukumbia trading center organized by Great Lakes Organic farmers Association, Mr. Bwambale said organically produced crops were non-toxic, highly demanded and easily pay back to the practicing farmers. Mr. Bwambale speaking……
The local council three chairperson for Nyakabingo subcounty, Charles Kahithisan Thembo who doubles as the association head, asks traders in the subcounty to diversify from alcoholic drinks that are forcing illegal acts, to food staffs among others if the area would remain peaceful.
He wonders why shops were filled with alcohol related drinks than family demanded items. Mr. Kahithisan speaking………..
