Opposition Politicians in Africa have called for free and fair elections in order to minimize military takeover in African countries.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio this morning from Mozambique where she is attending a high level dialogue of opposition leaders, the former leader of Opposition in Uganda, Hon.Winnie Kiiza Nyabahasa, said the dialogue in sub-Saharan Africa is aimed at promoting, fostering and strengthening democracy in Africa.

Hon.Kiiza said the 1995 Ugandan Constitution as amended, highlighted peaceful transition of power but this has not been realized with the frequent constitional amendments allegedly aimed to favor leaders in power. Hon. Kiiza two speaking….
The Dialogue has attracted representatives from Kenya, Zambia, South Africa, DRC and Angola among others. END.
