The Kasese district woman member of parliament, Hon. Winfred Bihande Kiiza has expressed fear for hunger in Kasese district as a result of floods that have destroyed crops in most parts of the district.
Speaking to Kasese Guide radio later after her tour of the affected areas and displaced persons in Kyalhumba, Karusandara and Kilembe among others, Hon. Kiiza was worried that the damage by floods was un bearable to district parts that have for long been a food source to Kasese and beyond.
She however warned the local residents against tempering with river banks and living in valleys which she said were a life danger especially during the wet seasons. Hon. Kiiza speaking1………..
