    The Kasese district Member of Parliament, Hon. Winfred Bihande Kiiza has described as disastrous for community members whom she said were getting to water the channels for scrap and firewood after floods, saying that such was putting their lives at risk.

    Addressing some internally displaced people in a number of camps in Kasese district, Hon. Kiiza called for patience despite the challenges they were passing through, warning that many flooding rivers were un predictable and a life risk to the community. Hon. Kiiza speaking……

    Like in many areas in Kasese district, Mr. Wiliam Maliko, the Bulembia primary school head teacher in Kasese Municipality said that part of the school had been destroyed, wondering what the future would be like to the learners. Mr. Maliko speaking……

    Earlier, the Kasese Municipal Mayor, His Worship Godfrey Kabyanga had described this year`s floods as a total destruction that her effects will take time to copy up with. END.
