The Kasese district woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Winfred Bihande Kiiza has handed to the Kasese district disaster and rescue committee relief items that include food estimated to over twenty million shillings.
Addressing the media shortly after handing over the five tones of Posho, seven sacks of second hand clothes, two hundred twenty five Blankets and sanitary items to the committee at Kasese Youth Polytechnic, Hon. Kiiza who hailed the people of good will in supporting her Kikonzo traditional basket campaign for feeding hungry needy prayed that the district targets beneficiaries among PWDs, the elderly and young mothers whom she said were more vulnerable to the current community challenges.
