The Vice Chairperson for Kasese district Hon.Ntabose Gideon Sanyu has tasked security operatives to explain circumstances under which an innocent servant of God Benon Nsimenta from South Rwenzori diocese was murdered in cold blood in Hima town council Kasese district.
He made the Remarks while speaking to the Press shortly after addressing Mourners at Kogere parish in Nyamwamba Division in Kasese Municipality after he had come to mourn with the grieved family following sad news for lay leader who was going to be ordained Rev in South Rwenzori in December this year.

The Vicar for St. Stephens Kogere COU in Kasese Archdeaconry, Rev Isebagheni Bwambale Nelson regretted the incident where lay leader late Benon Nsimenta was shot dead and said that they have asked security to meet all Burial expenses before he indicated that they will discuss with both the leadership of South Rwenzori diocese and the grieved family.

A widow to the deceased Ms Allen Musimenta who was with her husband by the time of the incident had earlier narrated to our reporter that they were travelling on motorcycle heading to their garden in Karusandara sub county when her husband was shot dead after being stopped by the UPDF officers on patrol. Sources say, in 1992 one of the clergy men working at Kogere parish COU Late Hosea Bwambale was murded by unknown thugs, according to one of the senior citizens in the area Mr.Johnbosco Bwambale commonly known as Mzee Wakazi. He told our reporter that whereas the first clergy man was killed with matters related to land conflict of the church land today’s incident cannot be related to that since they had settled those issues long time ago. Sources close to Kasese guide radio indicate that security operatives were planning to prepare a military Court martial at the scene of crime to hold the suspect accountable for Murder. END.
