    Hon. Mujungu & Kathika’s judgement adjourned.

    Judgment for an election petition of Hon. Mbaju Jackson Kathika and Hon.Thembo Gideon Mujungu the Member of Parliament for Busongora south constituency has been adjourned to 25th October, 2021.

    Presiding over high court in Fort portal tourism city yesterday(26th.August.2021) Hon. Lady Justice Katamba Victorious said since cross examination of witnesses had ended the petitioner was asked to submit his submission on 3rd September, 2021 as the first and second respondent also submits their submission on 17th September, 2021 respectively.

    Speaking to Our reporter shortly after court, the lawyer representing Hon. Thembo Gideon Mujungu counsel Mugabi Silas from Mugabi and shaka co. Advocates and Counsel Kenneth Sebabi from springs advocates said they are glad with the submission of their witness and hope for the best Judgment.

    The lawyer representing the petitioner, Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika counsel Guma Davis from Guma and co. advocates hailed court for proper handling of the case saying they will abide by the court decision on October 25th.

    Earlier, during cross examination of witnesses, Mr. Ismail Turkey was tasked to explain unconfirmed reports that dead people participated in the recent elections.
