The local leadership of Rukoki sub-county has appealed to the area Member of Parliament, Hon. Gideon Thembo Mujungu and the district leadership to lobby more for the expedition process of grading the Kigoro-Rukoki –Mbunga and Misika- Kapoko roads to ease road communication to improve production and marketing in the area.
Speaking to our reporter in Kasese town this morning, Mr. Emmanuel Muhindo Kitsama, the area local council three chairperson said the poor state of the roads, part of which are under central government had frustrated production and marketing of produce, as well as service delivery to the locals.
Mr. Kitsama said other than the roads being a frustration to security, agriculture, education and health in the area, they have badly hit the local revenue sources of the subcounty. Mr. Kitsama speaking…..
He later called for hard work among the locals whom he asked to fully join government against over drinking and drug abuses for the good of the community. END
