The Busongora South Member of Parliament, Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika has disowned the circulating letter that is alleged to have been written by him to the central Government with a call on public to treat the matter as baseless information as police investigate the clear source of the said document.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio yesterday(31st July 2020) afternoon at Club thirties in Kasese town, Hon. Mbaju said the alleged letter has nothing to do than tarnishing his name and misleading the community from the truth as well as mixing Obusinga Bwa-Rwenzururu with politics saying he has neither written such a type of a letter nor even in his future plans.
The legislator said he has handed the matter to police for investigations saying whoever will be found behind this will be answerable to give the clear source of the letter. Hon. Mbaju speaking 1……
Hon. Mbaju who later added that however much he supports the split of Kasese District he shall never support the creation of a district which can be split horizontally but only agrees with the district resolution of splitting vertically before highlighting a number of features on the letter that prove it to be a forged one including no date, receiving stamp and with no name among others.
