Kasese District FDC Electral Commission has withdrwan the nomination and declaration of Busongora South legislator, Hon. Mbaju Jackson Kathika from its data base on allegations of impersonation.

According to the party Electral Commission Chairperson Kasese, Mr. Charles Kambere, Hon. Mbaju is reportedly accussed of becoming unlwaful to the party guidelines during the nomination and declartion exercise.
In a letter dated 07th.July.2020 displayed to the media yesterday by the legislator indicated that Hon. Mbaju had been cleared by the National FDC office to participate in the party primaries.
However, this morning the FDC Secretary General Hon. Nandala Nathan Mafabi issued a circular that Kasese guide radio obtained to the FDC Chairperson Kasese, Mr. Saulo Maate clarifying that Hon. Mbaju can only be nominated if cleared by the district.
The letter reads apart that since the process has been extended to July 14th, the district should review the matter and handle it approperiately since the embattled MP picked interest forms from Kampala, saying the headquarters can not direct the district to include the legislator on the district candidate’s data-base without verification from the district office.
