    Hon. Katusabe’s political Assistant loses in elections

    Mr. Augustine Bayilhweko, the Political Assistant for Hon. Godfrey Katusabe Atkins, the Member of Parliament for Bukonzo West Constituency has lost in the constituency FDC Chairperson Seat elections after being beaten by Mr. Yohaz Baluku.

    Declaring the outcome of the elections, the presiding officer for Bukonzo West constituency, Mr. Ronald Bwambale declared Mr. Yohazi Baluku as the winner after getting seventy votes against 51 by Mr. Augustine Bayilweko.

    Earlier during their campaigns for the seat, Mr. Yohazi who called for shared roles pledged to strengthen party Mobilization he said could be promoted by hard work. Mr. Yohazi speaking ………

    After declaring the results, Mr. Bayilweko accepted defeat after the polls he said were free and fair. Mr. Bayilweko speaking………

    Mr. Ronald Kabuku who was elected as the constituency publicity secretary who appreciated the voters for their decision, later declared his intention to contest for FDC top Kasese district seat to replace Mr. Saulo Mate. Mr. Kabuku speaking………

    Mr. Gad Mbayahi who appreciated FDC for a clean poll, said being the voice of the party and fighting for the rights of the party members, is the reason he wishes to chair the district party executive.

    Meanwhile, the Vice Chairperson for Busongora South Ms Kyakimwa Mariam said the high turn up of the voters depicts party strength. END.
