    Hon. Katusabe condemns a controversial motion to promote Homosexuality

    Hon. Godfrey Katusabe Atkins, the Bukonzo County West Member of Parliament has advised the Kasese Municipal Speaker and the seconder of the said controversial motion to promote the Homosexuality, to immediately step aside to pave way for investigations.

    In a telephone interview with this radio last night, Hon Katusabe who described the motion as bogus to appear on an order paper of council, said stepping aside is a normal thing to aid transparency and protect the integrity of some directly affected people’s representatives.

    He also warned Kasese against politicizing the matter he say had put the district to test that the district that must stand as a family to deal with. Hon. Katusabe speaking1……….

    Kasese Guide Radio has learnt that other than an extra ordinary council sitting this morning by Kasese Municipality after several consultations meetings last evening, a similar joint council had been organized by Kasese district local government later at 10am today.

    Some sources yet to be confirmed told Kasese Guide Radio later last night that the Minister of Local government or his representative was likely to attend the joint district council over the matter. END.
