Uganda has joined the world in promoting peaceful plans that would end the Russia –Ukraine war as a measure to stabilize the escalating fuel prices, Hon. Godfrey Kabbyanga, the State Minister for ICT and national guidance has said.
Addressing Christians of St. Barnabas-Kasokero Church of Uganda in Kyalhughuthu village in Kyondo Sub County in Kasese district, Hon. Kabyanga described oil as a key component of production that its scarce, affects mainly the transport and industrialization sectors.
Hon. Kabyanga said that with the current sanctions against a leading oil producer, Russia, its paramount for measures that would see an end to war that has frustrated free flow lubricants to the world market.

Hon. Kabyanga who seemed to have read from President Museveni`s speech before his address said there were no plans to subsidize and waive taxes from essential commodities, asking Ugandans to work hard.
