Hon. Godfrey Kabbyanga, State Minister for National Guidance has re-assured security to the intending participants of the international Rwenzori Thelujji marathon early next month.
Addressing press conference at Shilo Hotel in Kasese Municipality, Hon. Kabbyanga said with the vigilance of the Wanainchi and the reinforcement by the Uganda People’s Defense Forces and her sister security agencies, the participants should be assured of security like it has been before in Uganda despite some isolated challenges.

Earlier, Hon. Kabyanga said Uganda-DR Congo border joint Combat operation had been beefed up at the guidance of Gen. Yoweri Museveni, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces in Uganda for the safety of citizens and their property.
