Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga, the Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance, has warned residents of Kasese District against issues related to tribalism but focus on development.

The Minister issued the warning yesterday while officially commissioning a new administration block, estimated at 100 million shillings, at Lake Katwe Sub-county headquarters in Kasese District.
He noted that Kasese has, for a long time, been caught in cycles of tribal conflict an issue he identified as a major cause of underdevelopment in the area.
Hon. Kabbyanga also revealed that the Central Government has approved Kasese, Ntoroko, and Bundibugyo districts as refugee transit areas. As a result, these districts will now receive USD 140 million in funding, similar to other refugee-hosting areas. Hon. Kabbyanga speakingβ¦
