The Member of Parliament for Busongora south Constituency in Kasese district, Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika was finally nominated by the FDC Electoral commission in Kasese after contravercies that almost called for protects by some of the Legislator`s supporters.

The Nomination of Hon. Kathika had had issues that were adamantly raised by their national and district offices, with his registration forms surrounded by alleged forgeries.
As Kasese guide radio is yet to learn if the move was backed by the FDC`s executive in Kasese district, the party`s electoral commission chairperson in the district, Mr. Charles Kambere said that their decision to nominate Hon. Mbaju Kathika for the party primaries was forced by the fact that no case had been put to light to bar the legislator from participating in their party polls due soon. Mr. Kambere speaking……
Our reporter later told this radio that immediately after his nomination, Hon. Mbaju Kathika`s supporters who had reportedly camped at Kasese FDC offices, including Hon. Johnson Mulekeri called off their planned protests that many party leaders had taken most of their time to neautralize. Hon. Mulekeri speaking…….
