The Member of Parliament for Bukonzo West Count, Hon. Godfrey Katusabe has clarified his call to the office of RDC-Kasese to clearly account for the relief food donated by the MPs from Kasese for the good of the affected local population now in the lock down over COVID-19.

Speaking to Kasese guide radio at the Kasese District head quarters in Rukoki yesterday, Hon. Godfrey Katusabe Atkins wasn’t about the pinning the office of the RDC but for the President`s representative to account for the food he says was intending to aid his people suffering under the lock down. Hon. Katusabe speaking……..

Hon. Katusabe wondered if his constituency did not have people with special needs to aid as a back to the RDC`s claims that some of the relief food was given to special categories of people in the district.

    Hon. Katusabe speaking2……

In a separate interview over the matter, the Kasese Deputy RDC, Mr. Joshua Masereka reminded the Legislator that Kayanja landing site and Katholhu trading center where more than five hundred people receive food are part of Bukonzo West represented in Parliament by Hon. Katusabe. Mr. Joshua speaking1…….

Mr. Joshua who commends the donors for their support asks Hon. Katusabe to know that the people in Kiraro displacement camp like other places had received donations beyond the MPs contributions, saying that his office alone had delivered four tones of cassava flour and two of beans to those people in need in Kitholhu subcounty. Mr. Joshua2….

He warned political leaders against loose language but unite the community against causes of disasters and disease among others. END
