Kasese District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Florence Kabugho, has reiterated her call for community members to embrace a saving culture, emphasizing that the money accumulated through savings can be used for future development.
Hon. Kabugho made the remarks over the weekend while addressing members of seven Village Savings and Loans Groups in Kanyatsi–Kithoma Town Council, at Kanyatsi Church of Uganda. She also met with members of the “Obughuma Nimani” group in Karambi Sub-county.
The legislator explained that organized groups are more likely to attract financial assistance from Government than individuals.
She further pledged her continued support to all organized and registered village groups, noting that promoting financial inclusion among both men and women would ultimately benefit families and the wider community.
