The Kasese District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Florence Kabugho has called for thorough investigations into allegations that some government officials were frustrating a move by government to officially open boundaries of the disputed pieces of land in the district.

Addressing more than 400 disappointed land claimants camped at the office of the Kasese Resident District Commissioner yesterday, Hon. Florence was concerned about the delayed boundary opening when government had released about fifty million shillings for the exercise aimed at cooling tempers over land between the pastoralists and cultivators in the district.
The legislator who donated 600 kilograms of cassava flour, encouraged the peaceful demonstrators to maintain their camp until a lasting solution is reached. Hon. Florence speaking…..
Ms Grace Biira, the chairperson for the land claimants in Kasese district commended Hon. Florence for the donation and His Worship Chance Kahindo for the words of wisdom each day. Ms .Grace speaking…..
