The Kasese district Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Florence Kabugho has described as fruitful their meeting with the Uganda’s Premier, Rt. Hon. Robina Nabanja about the possibility of reactivating the services of Kilembe Mines hospital.
In a December 2nd 2022 letter, the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Diana Atwine wring deactivating the services of Kilembe mines hospital, directing that the medical supplies to the facility be distributed to other government health facilities in Kasese district and Municipality.
Shortly after a protest over the directive was foiled by police, a delegation led by the Kasese district chairperson, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi sought for an appointment with the Uganda’s Premier whom they met yesterday.
According to Hon. Florence, the medical supplies to the facility will continue as Rt. Hon. Nabanja meets her, the health Minister, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Hon. Ferigo Kambale and Hon. Gideon Mujungu on Tuesday over the same matter. Hon. Florence speaking…..
