The Kasese District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon Florence Kabugho calls for mindset change against people`s crave for what she described as risky casual labor in the Arab world.
Hon. Florence who was consoling with the families of the landslide victims in Kasika village in Rukoki subcounty and Ibanda-Kyanya town council yesterday, Hon. Florence was concerned that whereas young ladies struggle a lot for kyeyo in the Arab countries, she had contributed to the evacuation back home of eight bodies whose death has remained suspicious.
The Legislator emphasized her point by giving examples of Ugandan job seekers in the Arab countries whose bodies have been transported back without internal body parts, as well as those deported insane under suspicious circumstances. Hon. Florence speaking1…….
The minister of Gender, Labor and social development Betty Amongi was quoted by the media earlier this week to have said that government was planning to call back home all Ugandans working in the Arab world for purposes of protecting their rights.
Hon. Florence who reminded mourners about the reality of death that people should get prepared for as preached by the Holy book, asked the community members to be close and pray for the affected families who currently live under fear. Hon. Florence speaking2……..
