Kasese Municipal Member of Parliament Hon.Ferigo Kambale has boosted Government effort of fueling the District Excavator that is channeling River Nyamwamba to its path in an attempt to stop the river from flooding into the community.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio yesterday(18th.May.2022) shortly after launching the works at Majengo, Hon Ferigo cautioned the community against human activities along the River which he said may frustrate the ongoing works.
Hon.Ferigo who described this as temporarily intervention said his decision to re-channel the river followed an anticipation of more rains.
