Hon. Ferigo Kambale, the Kasese Municipal Member of Parliament has asked the President to fulfill pledges he made to the Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma.
Speaking at the World Tourism Day celebrations held yesterday at Nyakasanga Playground in Kasese town, Hon.Ferigo, said last year King Mumbere, Her Royal Highness Agnes Ithungu Nyabaghole and Members of OBR cabinet met President Museveni at state house in Kampala after seven years, where he made several pledges including donating three tractors, Purchase of Keep Resort, revamping Kasese Aerodrome and fifty science state house scholarships per year which he has ably fulfilled among others.
Ferigo, asked Hon.Col.Tom Butime, the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities who represented President Museveni to remind him about the unfulfilled pledges. Hon. Ferigo speaking…….
He alsoasked government to expedite the process of desilting the deadly River Nyamwamba.
Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga, the State Minister for Information, Communication technology and National Guidance revealed that President Museveni has directed the Prime Minister to send engineers in Kasese to assess the possibility of desilting River Nyamwamba.
